My 1st time veneering...

Well..I ordered some Quilted Koa and took the plung...Using the wood glue/hot iron techique ..it was real easy and didn't have any problems..I still need to skim over the front and back with 300 and finish the other cabinet and then they are off to paint and poly for the midbass cabinet...

That's the whole idea...to give a strong contrast in shape with the hard edged midbass box and the organic midrange/tweeter pod...the pod along with the base will either be painted a piano black or black cherry...and the hole thing is modular...

It's a Ring Rev....I used a car audio component set to mock up the loudspeaker and will be using OEM scan 4 and 7 "instead of the ones pictured above" but will continue to use the tweeter pictured....
