Default Helmholtz bass absorber, where to place?

If i measured an 10dB in room response bump at 60Hz, and would like to tackle it with a tuned passive radiator, where should I place it?

At the node (high pressure zone)? or at the anti-node (high velocity zone)?? Which location would gives a better result

Hi Banana,

I don't have a specific answer to your question, but when I am solving resonance problems, I always turn to Ethan Winer. His advice is tuned more for recording engineers, but the principles are sound.

There are two resources, his site and his forum:

site

forum

I hope that helps.

The high pressure zone, (some off the pressure dissapears when the passive membrane is moving) or you can place solid things in the air moving zone (it stops the air from moving)
