Default different veneer types

Hey all!
Just wondering if anyone has experience with using this
I was thinking to use it in combination with some exotic wood on the side panels, with the copper on the baffle.
Any comments on if you think it may have any adverse effects would be welcome.

Hope you get some replies, I've looked at that for some other projects. There is a specific glue you need to use, I found some info here.
