Default £600 speaker kit

any one know of any good £600 speaker kits that come with the cabinet pre cut and crossovers. (in the UK)

i like the look of the Wilmslow Audio Classique, looking for a 'live' sound but in a relatively compact speaker.

somthing with the mid and high's of my Rega R3's but with a bit more solid but accurate bass lol

It would help to know what you want to use the speakers with, and what sort of listening room you have.

If possible, it is always best to audition these kit speakers before parting with your money.

I guess your location makes Wilmslow your best bet although IPL (in Devon) sell excellent kits and would be my favourite!

It may be that somebody relatively local to you has bought a particular kit speaker and would be glad to let you hear it.

OK, your next step should be to contact Wilmslow/IPL with that sort of information (and what type of music that you prefer). Ask them to make some recommendations and then ask if they have any customers with those kits near to you. Most builders are only too happy to show off their new kit speakers!

I'd second the suggestion of IPL, Ivan is one of the most helpful people I know in the business.
