I was wondering if all you guys that have heard AudioTechnology drivers have heard drivers with the sd system. Anyone hear any AudioTechnology drivers without the sd system?
All I could find out about the sd system from searching the web is from this website. http://www.soundlabsgroup.com.au/aud..._flexunits.htm Any comments or opinions out there? Thanks!! |

The SD system from my understanding is basically a copper sleived pole piece, have a look at faraday rings if you want a good idea about what is going on.

the trick with the SD onthe mid-woofers, comes down to the roll in the copper cap, at the top. A subtle distinction that makes all the difference.
Most will miss this.

All my audiotechnology drivers have SD motors. They sound great, but those are small units. (18H and 15H in different configurations, overhung/ underhung motors).
