You are right. The MB's were not my first choice. I had to order two seas 1189 and the mbs were on sale

The mb is just a low price way for me to work with metal a second time

Yup it would be nice of the mb's work out but they dont it's ok. Plan to build a pair of active speaker for a ipod they would go nicely with the pair of Seas 6.5" woofers I have. Either way tweeters will be used

btw I love the responses. Alot to think about

Default MB quart tweeter

Thanks for your tip. However it should be the rectangular version.
A set of spare diaphragms would also be helpful.

regards
Rene

Default MB quart 2" dome mid

Hi all,

just curios, this midrange seems to me identical to the legendary
driver employed in the old Thiel CS5 ( square flange).
I am wondered because they claimed 1000Hz first acoustic order high/pass!!
Am I wrong?

Cheers,
Inertial
