Hi phn,
That's another one I'm not going to touch. Another endless debate coming up. But then again, those who know the inner workings don't need to talk about it. Morgan Jones touches on the transformer issues a bit in his book "Valve Amplifiers". As far as the actual signal is concerned, there is a standard for that. -Chris |

Chris, you might not want to touch it. In my case, I simply don't know.
I read Douglas Self's Balanced Line Technology once and that was it for me. And, no, I do not want to debate it. |

I'm a big fan of balanced connections simply because of the earth loop eliminating quality.
