Default midbass enclosure volume

I've got a pair of SEAS CA15RLY midbasses to use for a 3 way, crossed over at about 250-300 Hz, low end, and am looking for advice on what size enclosure to use. I want it to be sealed, and it will be crossed over at 2500-3000 Hz top end. Do I shoot for a Qtc of .5, or what ? I got Zaph's TS parameters from his latest test posting and plugged them into WinISD, so I have the ability to model a box. I am looking for input from this forum. Also, I have done alot of research on crossover design, mainly in Dickasons cookbook. Other DIYers talk about crossovers with different slopes per driver in a 3 way, but Dickasons cookbook topologies and formulas don't discuss that. Do I take the formulas from his 2nd order equations for one driver, then use 3rd order formulas for another driver, etc. and put them together, or what. I will be doing impedance measurements and corrections prior to calculating parts values......Please help with these issues, any input will be greatly appreciated......Respectfully...omni

To get the crossover right you NEED measurement equipment such as a computer, soundcard, microphone and ETF.

You need to get the 'acoustic output' of the drivers to crossover smoothly, so you can't just use a standard electrical crossover without measuring the drivers actual sound output.
