Hi,
I am only a beginner and so this is nothing fancy I've decided that I need a highly efficient speakers to go with my t-amp so this is what I have in mind. I am planning to mate Fostex FE127E drivers with this cabinet http://www.decibelhifi.com.au/prod146.htm What do you guys think? How do you think it will perform. I have minimal tools for electronics and none for woodwork. so premade cabinets kits are my only option. Also, I have no expeirienced with crossovers and from what I gather, the fostex does not require one, is this true? does it mean i can solder driver wire straight into the binding post? Many thanks in advance for any opinion or advice presented. Oh, I am actually hoping to beat my current setup with this speakers, which is the t-amp with psb alpha a/v. I hope its possible. |

At most you may have to add some baffle step correction... but this is not absolutely necessary. Put them togeter and listen.... stuff to taste. How bad could it be? Above all... have fun.
