I am installing a volume control on my patio to control my "B" speakers which are Bose 251's which are 8 ohms. There are jumper settings on the small circuit board on the volume control that say X1, X2, X4 and X8. This is the only external volume control I am using. My "A" speakers inside are Bose 901's with a Denon amplifier (100w X 2) driving them. Which jumper settings should I use. Occasionally I will have both sets of speakers turned on. Any help appreciated!

This setting is for the amount of speakers to be controlled by the volumecontrol. Just set it to x2 if you are using a stereo setup and I think youll be fine.
