Default Owens 703 in AcousticSusp. box?

Hello all:

I realize that most of the time folks use this product for bass traps or on wall absorption, but is there any reason not to use Owens/Corning 703 (3lb/cf) inside the box of an acoustic suspension speaker? This will be a bass unit crossed @ aprox 250 Hz/24dB/octave.

Thanks,
David
