Here are a few SKETCHUPS of a future project of mine.
It is based on the Tannoy Westminster Royal
This would be a floor to ceiling corner build-in (approx 7' x 3' x 2').
The triple-folded horn is 10' long.
The build process includes eight boxes...
1. Front conical horn
2. 15" coaxial driver rear enclosure
3. Inner folded rear horn (left and right)
4. Middle rear horn flair (left and right)
5. Outer final rear horn flair (left and right)
The final design (this is just a proof-of-concept) will be modelled using Martin's front / rear horn worksheet when it becomes available.

Personally, I would choose a single/longer backhorn and not a splitted backhorn solution like yours (two equal horn of a shorter lenght) because of less workmanship/materials and possible lower cutoff.
The symetric look of your approach has a meaning only for a single box on mono audio programm (which I think was the case with Wesminster's in their glory).

Well, it works for me.
My front left and right channels flanking my 92" front projection screen are that high.
I actually like it that way.
It is a "bigger" sound -- like at a concert or movie theatre.

Nice project, but why don't you copy the original Westminster? I see you DC will be higher than in the original and your front horn's angle seem to be not wide enough.
I wish you good luck, strong arms and understanding spouse/partner because now I am finishing my first Autograph (wich is a little smaller) and I tell you that it is a titanic enterprise!

Nice project, but why don't you copy the original Westminster? I see you DC will be higher than in the original and your front horn's angle seem to be not wide enough.
I wish you good luck, strong arms and understanding spouse/partner because now I am finishing my first Autograph (wich is a little smaller) and I tell you that it is a titanic enterprise!

Where there is a will there is a way.
My current thinking is two 15" vintage drivers (which I already have).
Mounted in front coaxially will be Heil AMTs which I already have.
Crossover will be active at 1000hz.
That is my current thinking...
BTW, this is down the road a tad.
We have to build the extension to the family room first.
Then these puppies go in...

the Westminster is the modern creation to suit stereo. It's predecessor, the Autograph, was originally designed to be corner located.
Did they make a rectangular Autograph? or is it a clone that I have seen on the web?
BTW, I have seen some drawings and cutaways of the Westminster posted, but don't know where.
Am I right in my understanding that the current Westminster has reverted to using alnico and the pepperpot?
Does anyone know the differences between a Westminster driver and the ordinary range of drivers? It might give our cloner a clue to what would be a good driver.
