Has anybody used the TC18WG49-04 or the 8 ohm versions with success. How do they sound? I'm thinking of using them for a MTM with a seas 27TDFC tweeter.

THey sound pretty good, I have some of the PE "Infinity Buyout" woofers P/N 299-493, IIRC. These have a gently rising response and a small peak just before rolloff at around 4kHz.
Their Qts is a bit high at around 0.48 and that makes them not suitable for ported boxes without a fairly big box ~1.5cubic feet per driver or so. I put mine in a 24Liter sealed box and they have very articulate bass down to a ~55Hz F3. Because they are sealed, they have a bit of a fool-you quality and they seem to go much deeper with some music. Midrange is good for the price. Mine are crossed at ~2kHz to a D25AG.

Ron E, did you have problems getting a flat response, I read in another thread about people getting a flat response out of the woofer. Also this is going to be my first DIY project where I design the crossover so I don't want something out of my league.
