Try to search the internet for the A4 monitor (Dutch).
By the way, there is a comparison between the A4 and a similar speaker on Troels´homepage. Look at the latest file from Macedonia (was it dated April 30?) |

I've paired my ScanSpeak 15W/8530K01 drivers with Heil AMT tweeters. The box is 35x34x20cm, with a volume of 15 litres. Just love the sound - very natural, balanced, accurate... I'm driving the speakers with a DIY tubeamp.
You may check the speakers out at my website:http://www.moxtone.com/moloh.htm Regards, Milan P.S. The tubeamp project is underway under the Siemox F2a heading. |

Hi:
The box is made of 19 mm thick MDF boards, which are glued together at the edges using wood glue. The box was first treated with some car-repair putty, then sanded with sandpaper and sprayed over with a black acrylic car finish. When the paint was dry, I applied a single coat of clear laquer for protection. The front is angled at 10 degrees. I bought the tweeters off of eBay for around 150 USD/pair. The front grill shown in the picture cannot be removed although I believe there are some models of these particular tweeters where the (silver plastic) grill comes off (10B model or similar). I hope this helps. Regards, Milan |
