Default Horns, bends and upper mids

I want to design a front horn that extends from bass to a couple of kHz. The thing is, I don't want to have to buy the block next door.

Can I implement a slow 180 degree crescent and retain the mids? I want to design so the horn's top end rolls off my driver in lieu of a crossover so I would like to have a little predictability.

It won't need to be perfect, I am (maybe wrongly) thinking you'll need to be able to 'see' the cone when putting mids through a front horn.

When you load the PM250 in the bass you have 100dB and a nice rolloff. I am no expert, but I never heard about anybody who has successfully designed a widerange horn.

There r hardly any drivers covering good low bass & good mid upto few kiloherts. U can get horn from 300~400 hz to 2 kiloherts. Then u must hv sub & high frequency drivers seperately for u.

What parameters indicate bandwidth in a driver for this purpose?

My drivers exhibit low mass rolloff according to Dr. Bruce Edgar's formulas, but a midrange horn seems to be possible all the same.

I have simulated what I want in Hornresp, nothing there (that I can see) suggests it will not work.
