Could someone tell me please the formula for helmholtz resonance of a small chamber with opening as is used on a couple of TL enclosures to remove higher resonances either from speaker or line harmonics.
How do you size the chamber? Can a small chamber off a port be used to remove or lower the level of the harmonics in a BR port? jamikl |

I think you might be interested in looking at Martin J King's page, the Mass Loaded Transmission Line enclosure.
http://www.quarter-wave.com/Projects.html It is a sort of enclosure which is tall and skinny, uses both quarter wave and bass reflex principles, and eliminates the upper resonances of the Transmission Line.
