Default Wwwtttwww? Wwtttwwww? Wtwwtwwtw?

make any sense?

I have 6 woofers, and three tweeters going into my tower speakers.

I'm wondering what configuration would be the best option?

thankyou for any input, I'll be sure to post pics when they are done

Hey Welcome to the forum! There is lots of information here. As far as your wwwTTTwww question i see a few flaws. One is (and correct me if i'm wrong) but putting 3 tweeters inline with each other seems like a bad idea it would greatly reduce vertical dispersion. And 'd figure they'red be some lobing issues.? Someone else should chime in as i'm still learning many concepts.

angsuman,

You are correct. There would be comb filter/ lobing problems.

WhatsAWoofer?,
There are lots of options for you, but I also have a few suggestions. First off you need to read the line array white paper. Also, what drivers fo you have? I would not suggest more than putting 1 tweeter in front unless you are planning on a bessel array. There are line arrays that have multiple tweeters that are not in a bessel array, but I personally am not a big fan. If you want to try and use all of your drivers you can place one tweeter in the front and one in the back, but I don't think a 3rd tweeter needs to be used. You can easily place 6 woofers in a line array, there are many arangements to try. I have contemplated a line array with 4 woofers, 3 in front in an mtmm fasion with 1 in the rear, haven't done much research though. There are many line array fanatics on the forum that are much more knowledgable, but hopefully this is a good start.

Josh

Listen to the advice that has been given and then do some research. When that's done, research some more as you will end up with a better speaker.

3 tweeters are not the go.

I'm not really one for sound quality.

I just need a decent system, that will keep up with my subwoofers 125+ dBs from 30 - 80Hz...

I rearranged my room a few days ago.

subs in the same position, but the listening position has changed, and now the bass is rather weak.

sucks doesn't it?

anyway, truth be told, I have 12 cheap tweeters on the way already cost about $US2.90 each, so, I'm not really worried if they sound crap.

Looks more like the making of an array. That's a lot of drivers to put in a pair of boxes array would be sweet though I think you might go deaf though with 12 horn tweeters full blast!
