I was just wondering has anyone seen this driver at all .I know it is new and just wondering if anyone knows where it is available at all.
Seas informs me that it is now available to buy and I am interested in using it in a project I am starting |

Seems like spendor ?s23? uses it... as mid-bass and the bigger ones use it only as mid... am not sure... I heard them a little while ago in shop...
As mid-bass it definitely lacks bass, has good midrange detail - not up to Excell drivers - courtesy of polyprop cone - but without conebreakup too. I think midrange detail may be improved without having to do bass. I think it is a nice driver for specific applications - In the Spendor it is a bit quiet - and laid back, but that may be because of the X-O that has to hold down the mids for the lack of bass. Just my thoughts on what I think might have been the driver you mention... |

Madisound has informed me that there is no news or pricing on the driver so i guess it is a wait and see . |

Try Acousticconcepts.com.au, they stock all the new Nextel drivers.
