Question AnyOne know the model-name of my loudspeaker's ?

The loudspeaker, is a Dansih-made by : F3 (now Audiovector).

Anyone know the excact name ?.

I am driving them with a LeachAmp 4.5, which grow's hot, when playing loud.
I was wondering if a Krell-Clone KSA50, was better driving them ???

You can see some picture's at my Amp, if you're interested here

Looking at the pictures of your Leach amp, it's obvious to me that it will become hot no matter what load your speakers are. You really need to ventilate these heatsinks where the transistors are if you want it to stay cool. The Krell KSA50 will become just as hot if assembled similarly (or even hotter because of the higher idle bias)

Hope this helps!

Yes I know, but maybe the Krell could drive more power ? (I would like too) I would like a 'bit' more power.

Sorry I forgot to mention that.

Hi Lykk,
even leaving the lid off the output stage will probably overheat.

You really need to get those heatsinks oriented the correct way and out in the open air.

Tread carefully with the volume control until this is sorted.

If those speakers are continental then they may be 4ohm. This will make your overheating problem even worse.

No,
with the fins horizontal you lose about 30% of the cooling capacity.
You need to orient them vertically.
Try cutting them in half. Then four side by side will have more cooling than two big ones side by side and the reduced height will fit the box you have.

OOPs, just had another look and there is not enough room to cut them in half and you then need to relocate the diodes.

No I think at the back of the magnet of the bass unit. You'll hae to take the driver out to see. Is this
your bass driver?
