For my 42nd B'day, I want to build myself some speakers to replace the BLOWS 601s that I currently have. I have a 10-yr old Denon DRA 1025RA that I still really like. I paid 1k for it and I just dropped a bundle into a basement HT. So, I don't really want to replace the entire upstairs system. The Adire kit 281s are rated at 4ohms and that could be a problem. Does anyone know of another kit speaker that is as highly acclaimed?
Thanks
