Now I'm familiar with the recent threads about SL's Pluto and how omni designs activate the room more, but there a couple of interesting advantages to facing up with the big driver. Firstly, elimination of early reflections, important with light cone materials, and secondly, no 'rocking' force (and here I mean motion rather than music genre). They also look very neat! So I'm tempted to give this a go with my Audax HM170Z18s and 38mm ScanSpeak domes giving me the chance to implement a series filter at ~2kHz while I'm at it. Anyone tried anything similar?
