Default need help on tweeters *quick*

first of all, please help me out with some opinions.

I'm trying to figure out how the LPG 26NA aluminum tweeter compares with the seas lotus reference tweeter, and other higher end tweeters.
THANK YOU!

What's the hurry? You should never rush into any choices, unless you are prepared to take the attendant risks. Relax, visit Zaph's site, and do some background reading here.

Actually, I did test the LPG. (and about 100 other tweeters not shown on my web site) I had a pair of the LPG's in my truck for many years. Beautiful sounding tweeters as long as they aren't pushed too low. I wouldn't hesitate with these. Don't cross over below 2.5kHz 4th order.

ps. they might have been good tweeters, but I still hate car audio.

Zaph, thanks for the informative reviews

If I have 9500's and like to cross low, how fast would you rush out and buy Seas 27TBFCG's to replace them or wouldn't you?

The 9500's are an excellent tweeter. If you have those, no need to run out and get a pair of 27TBFCG's. The Seas might be a smidge better in some areas, but the 9500's are in the same league.

thank you very much for the info. One more question for you though. Can you please tell me how comparable are they with mostly the Seas Lotus Reference tweeters, and also, mb quart q series tweets.
thank you!
