I finished my speakers appolito style XT18 small magnet and SEAS 27TDC 12db on the tweeter 18 db on the woofers, and dual chamber ported top and bottom.Just incredible sound !!!I compared them to my other speakers and just covered everything the others lack or had to much of.the tweeter is really like zaphaudio said just leaps and bounds from the vifa 27 45 tg 06,and the peerless X176 is just not up to par with the detailed yet smooth mid of vifa XT,in my humble opinion it's the best woofer for the mid,for overal image, detail, speed, good bass, especially with dual chamber.it feels like you put a 10" in the box.just went to lots of places to find this kind of sound but never could reach it or was just out of reach (cost wise)and the other speakers I have are the SEAS RLY 18,AND SEAS 27TFF ,together sound great, very articulate, good image but not as smoooooth as vifaXT,just awsome.I like to show you guys my pics anyone can help me put them on the forum?

thx guys the wood on them is cherry on both one with very little stain, actually its varnish from minwax that has already a color in it.you apply it then wipe it off with a cloth so you can see a lot of the grain but still have some coloring and then you can apply a finish of your choice,i suggest latex finish because it has no fumes and is non yelowing and dries and is tougher then regular varnish.use the one with urathane in it not acrilic, urethane is harder. and my appolito I sanded with a 150 grit and used perfect brown with a 1/3 of ebony from mohawk stains, they can dry in 20 min and then sprayed a alchool base varnish "Synteko" mat finish.and that dries in 1 hour so i did all the finish in 6 hours.
today I'm having a couple of guys that help me build the boxes come over and test drive these speakers with theirs cd's ..see what they think of it...
