Default Beginner with enclosure volume questions

I have a visual design concept for a loudspeaker, but I do not know if it would sound good. Would someone please briefly explain how does a sealed enclosure serve to extend the bass response of a driver? How is the optimal enclosure volume of a driver predicted or calculated? Why is the recommended sealed enclosure volume for a driver usually less than the ported volume? What would happen if 2 cone drivers were mounted in-phase in a sealed enclosure with significantly less volume than the recommended volume? Thank you.

This is a link to help design your box. If you have the T/S parameters just plug them in.

Most of your questions will be answered as you go through, it's a great site.

Everytime you double up the drivers you have to double the volume as well. If your box is too small, the box doesn't allow the drivers to "breath" enough and the depth of bass is compromised.

It actually gets quite complicated the further you delve into it but sites like that seem to ease the pain a bit.

As a speaker cone moves forward, pushing air, the back of the cone is also moving, but sucking air.
The cabinet separates the front from back.

Speaker parameters determine optimal volume.
Primarily Vas, Fs, Qts

It depends on performance design goals

You'd get less bass.
You'd get a response that peaks at a inconvenient place.
It'd sound rather 'flabby'
