Default need crossover help with focal 7w4411 and td90tdx

First of all i wish to say thanks to all of you that gave me info for places to go in Toronto.
I have had these drivers in my system for a while although I was not completely happy with them they sufficed.
I am in the process of rebuilding them, I've got the enclosure completed but they seem a bit hollow to me in the upper midrange so I was wondering if any of y'all could help me?

the 7w4411 parameters are:
Fs = 39.5 HZ
Qms = 7
Vas = 1.197cu. ft
Xmax = 0.217 in
Sd = 25.59 sq in
Qes = 0.38
Re = =7.8 ohms
Le = 0.69
Z = 8 ohms
Pe = 90 watts

TC 90Tdx

Fs = 693.8 hz
Qts = .63
Qes = .83
Qms = 2.72
Rcc = 6 ohms
Zmax = 24.83

the enclosure is

all sides top back and bottom .75 mdf
front baffel 1.5 mdf
port
Id = 2"
length = 6"

w= 11.25
h=19.25
top depth= 8"
bottom depth 11.5'

I have 4 of the 7w4411's and plan to try a mtm floor-stander
ala Zalytrons Titanio Elite http://www.zalytron.com/audiophile.htm
subbing the tc90tdx for the audiom TLR
later when I decide on a wood and finish.
I purchased all of these drivers and crosover components from Zalytron and i have an e-mail into them for help but I thought I would beg y'all for some advice as well.
thanks in advance

Hollow upper midrange, as you descibe it, points in direction of fase problems - I would think 1mH is too big

By the way, have you reversed polarity on tweeter - it should be

I agree about the phase. No matter what information I find or try to calculate about a driver, nothing can beat measuring my own frequency phase plot for each driver in it's enclosure. With relative differences between the drivers being the larger issue, I have found my estimates to be way off sometimes.

Then you could use a crossover simulator to do the rest.

About the 1mH inductor, if it seems larger than it could be, it is likely the correct value for the original design - compensating for baffle step diffraction. It will only work for the original box. If you measure your own frequency response, you should get excellent results.

Default Much better thanks

I reversed the polarity of the tweeter, and it's much better!
As far as the crossover it;s self goes i;'m going to build the Titanio Elite http://www.zalytron.com/audiophile.htm
this week and focus my efforts on that.
thanks once again, I'll post pics and info when it's completed.

I would suggest using some information from this design by Osborne Speakers
