Default Sound cards and Speaker testing

I've been playing with speaker workshop and have decided that my SB Live will not be the best sound card to use. So I'm looking around for some options, I want to keep the price under $200 and purchase a non resampling card. I've looked at several.... REM, Maya44 MKII, Maudio so on and so on. I would like to hear what you folks maybe using? Any help?
