I am trying to gather information concerning the Hammer Dynamics loudspeaker project as shown at www.hammerdynamics.com.
Has anyone built this kit? What is your opinion for this kit? What driver does it use? Is it an Eminence driver? What model is it? Does anyone know what tweeter it uses? Thanks to all, George |

I'd bet it's a Beta 12 (the 'full range' one) and some type of Quart or LPG metal tweeter by the look of them.....

BTW, this is a very custom driver from eminence.. You can't get it from anywhere but hammer dynamics. (..and no there are not sonic equivalants from eminences line.) As for the tweeter, don't know about that.

correction: Actually one of the reviews stated that the tweet is an audax. If it's not a beta 12 I'd bet a buck it's based on one.

that was likely what John started with.. but after I think 20+ different samples the design changed considerably.

I gater Dave (planet10) rates the drivers. And burned the enclosure. Without the correct T/S parameters, I can't try for an MLTL in Martin's sheets though. Anyone got them?

I did a little reasearch a long time ago on these. I wasn't aware they had evolved. Everything I have stated is probably far from current
