Glueing tiles on the back of the cabinet?

Hello,

To begin with, I'm not very new to this forum, but I nearly post anything, just like surf through these great forums.

Now I got this idea to gleu some sort of (bathroom) tiles outside on the back of my speaker-cabinet, to make it more dead.
Will this give any effect?
Or does anyone have any experience with this?

Doesn't sound like a particularly good idea to me. Using lead sheets is one way of effectively deadening the cabinet, as is the best option IMO - comprehensive bracing.

I have.. Inside and outside...
Since in your bathroom with your ides..
I'm also going to check out Cement Board Tile Backer that they use before they apply tub and shower enclosures...

There are a millions ways to deaden a cabinet. Add mass
and install bracing. Do whatever works for you. Tiles are heavy
and it will add mass
