Hi there,
Given the age of its design, I'm curious how the NHT1259 stacks up against other sub drivers in its price range. Thanks, Dennis |

Hi Dennis,
Ive had an NHT1259 for five years now and I'm very happy with. I can't comment about the sound quality of the newer drivers but the NHT is certainly outclassed when it comes to Xmax: NHT1259: Xmax = 13mm for $150 Shiva: 15.8mm for $125 Stryke SAE1204: 14.3mm for $109 Blueprint 1201: 16mm for $91 The best bang for the buck at the moment seems to be the Stryke AV12 though. It boasts a one-way Xmax of 23mm for only $140 on pre-order! Nice one, David. |
