Hello everyone,
I'm just learnig, just got my first book Loudspeaker Design Cookbook 7th ed. I was looking at the Thor & Odin kits, but was wondering if either could be converted using the same xovers to a floor standing conventional ported speaker ? This would make it them easier to build.. Has anyone done this ? What would the cab. dimensions be ? Thank you for your help. Regards, Jose |

Use the Odin and partition off the extra volume in a floorstander. That way you build as per the design with no changes in xo or volume. Make the height of the cabinet the same as the Thor which will put the drivers at the right height.
They are the same speaker but with different bass loading.
