TOA DP-0204 DSP Crossover/EQ
While waiting for a Behringer DCX to resurface , I picked up one of these on ebay for next to nothing. While it runs at 48kHz/20bit, it seem like a pretty capable unit. When I get some AES-EBU cable from Markertek I plan on hooking it up after my DEQ2496 and hear how it is. In the meantime, is anyone here familiar with this box?

TOA DP-0204
Hi, I know this is ancient post....but...I wonder how this went for Gary? I have one of these I paid quite a bit for on ebay some years back (they were very expensive new), planning on maybe getting a second for future plans.....never happened. Any feedback on where it stands performance wise and in today's world of options?? Thanks for any thoughts shared...Kind Regards, Rob

TOA DP-0204
Hi Rob,
maybe I can answer some of your questions regarding the TOA crossover. I'm a long time user of the DP-0204 (more than 10 years) running the unit in combination with an old Anatech sample rate converter fed by a squeezebox receiver. Attenuation is done by a 4 channel pot. This setup is totally quiet. I can't detect any hiss or noise, even if I stick my ear into my 110db midrange horns. Please feel free to ask any question regarding proper setup or technical details of the crossover. Best regards, Bodo |
