Hi all,
I'm trying to build a 2-way crossover from Philips. I've the original old Philips drivers (7" woofer & 1" tweeter) and the how to book also original from Philips. I did buy good capacitor and Solen air coils according to the scheme. But the scheme didn't show which is the negative and positive input. and also how to connect the coils & cap (which one is in/out). I've attached the picture in this post or you can go here: a2xm.com/skema.gif Any helps will be very appreciated. Thanks so much. Cheers, a2xm |

Hi,
for inductors, film and reversible electrolytic capacitors it does not matter which way round they are used. Your diagram is fine, the top is usually the negative input and the bottom usually the positive input. |
