B&W recommends Classé amplification
No doubt because B&W owns Classe

Yes, that's why.
But they should start thinking about making those amps compatible with their speakers.

Hi Mark!

I have the Radio Shack 33-2050 meter and it is cheap and ok for in room measurements. You can use it with a test CD or one of many free programs. The meter is not linear, so you have to apply some corrections. I have some info on my webpage:

http://ca.geocities.com/gmilitano/Te...50/33-2050.htm

On that apge there is a link to a free test CD and some free software with built in corrections for the Radio Shack meter.

Cheers,
Gio.
