I'm building a bipolar surround with two side firing Audax TM025F1 tweeters and a front firing Dayton DC130BS-8 Woofer, each having a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. I was planning on wiring the tweeters in series to keep the impedance up for my receivers sake. The woofer has a SPL of 88dB and the tweeter has an SPL of 92 dB. I am planning on putting a -4dB Lpad after the high pass crossover. With the series configuration of my tweeters, am I padding them too much? Should I wire the tweeters in parallel or will that make my impedance too low for my receiver (rated for an 8 ohm speaker) to handle? Thanks in advance for you help
