What exact effect does hysteresis have? I know you are not suspose to use iron core inductors because of it. Does it make a jagged frequency response, or increased CSD or IMD or THD or what?
I've been studying it and it appears that it doesn't allow the inductor to switch back and forth quickly which makes me think that the highs would be further attenuated, thus increasing inductance the more power is used? I'm sure that's not right, but it's my shot in the dark. What's going on with them? |
