Plessey Speaker info needed.

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone could help, I have done some googling and some searching here for info on some Plessey Speakers. I did find some info but not on these particular drivers, I found a PDF file on Rola speakers here but the ones I have are not mentioned.

I bought a couple of speakers from the tip shop, they have a phillips badge on them but apon taking the back off the crossovers appear very DIY...

Each cabinet contains a 10" Plessey C10 000, a 6" Plessey C6 MR00 and I think a 3" tweeter of unknown brand etc, just lots of markings on it ie:-

AD 0160/t8
112
641 DO

I would suggest contacting Lorantz Audio in Melbourne - they bought and operate from the old Plessey-Rola factory, and may have some info on the old stuff.

David etal, the markings AD 0160/t8 on the tweeter sound like Phillips to me. the t8 usually refers to the nominal impedance.
Try googling "vintage phillips loudspeakers". hope this helps
