Default Wilson Audio Puppy Clone

planning to do the project like http://www.users.nac.net/markowitzgd/david/david.htm

but instead of using 2x18mm for the front panel... i'm planning to use 25mm + 18mm.... i'm wondering which one is more suitable to be used infront where the woofer resides (25mm follow by 18mm or the other way round)...any suggestion ?

I'd have the thinner panel on the inside so that you're routing & screwing into the thick side.
