What do you guys think of finishing MDF cabinets with Rhino Liner textured truck bed liner or something like it. I was thinking I would use Rhino Line (or LineX) on the whole cab, and then on the sides, top and bottom panels, putting a nice hardwood like maple, or walnut so they don't look too "industrial". Whatever, just throwing out ideas and seeing what bounces back.

You might want to try a search - this subject has been discussed many times here. Short answer: lots of folks have used the stuff.

Bedliner is a very nice finish for MDF, I've used it quite a bit, as have others. I'd apply the hardwood first, then mask it to apply the bedliner.
