The back of some YAG-20's I had stated the logo for the yindi website via a sticker directly on the back of them- they are the same company.
And BTW- the Silver Flute YAG-20 does not 'suck', you just have to use it properly. 2.3kHz minimum, and 4th order electrical minimum. Too bad they're pretty much NLA stateside now. ...And mind you, the Stryke, YAG-20, and PT2-A are all the same unit. The PT2-B and PT2-C (current product) are not the same driver. Later, Wolf

Hi rv1890
Decware use some of the 8” units in their Decware Mini's (model DM945). For a review, have a look at the Stereomojo review of the Decware DM945 (aka the Mini). Enjoy, Deon |

Thanks for replies,
I was thinking to get this- The Madisound Speaker Store The frequency Graph looks very good, uniform & shows it can go deep. When I checked scan speak discovery drivers, the curve is not as flat as silver flute. The Madisound Speaker Store The Madisound Speaker Store So is technically silver flute driver better than scan speak? Will it sound actually better than scan speak? |

spirovious, it is a different frequency response scale and measurement condition, so can't compare that way. The silver flute was probably measured in a ported enclosure. If you look at Zaphaudio's website, he posts distortion measurements of the Silver Flute and Scanspeak Revelator woofers. As measurement interpretation is highly subjective, you would have to draw your own conclusions.

it looks to be a better driver (especially copper cap on the pole piece) but who knows, especially without a frequency graph.
Also the silver flutes' charts are not tremendously detailed. |
