Hello
I was wondering, is there any problem with hand wound inductors that don't have the windings perfectly aligned? Is there any difference, sound wise or any other kind, between a perfectly wound inductor and one with crossing turns? |

scatter-winding may produce a larger inductor but the difference will only be audible if you think you hear it*

Try to be neat. For a given amount of wire or turns; a scattered winding will just give you a little less inductance... there won't be any horrible sonic destruction... tizzy highs... reduced soundstage...
