CNC shape cabinet?

Hi there,

I want design new cabinet to my loudspeakers (new cabinet design) and I want to usu with CNC cut.

The popular shape is egg like Sonus Faber and Magico Mini and more...
I'm want to do other shape from Sonus Faber and I want to see some design that build in layer on layer.
Any guys here know some interesting design or build one and can send picture or link?

Thanks for your help.

N.B: I will design monitor loudspeakers.

if you don't have access to a cnc...it's real easy to do...it intails making a jig and then making copies of that jig using a router and a flush trim bit...

I forgot;
Use with Birch ply is much better from use with MDF with enough thickness?

Brich Ply cost around 4 time more feom MDF in same thickness (18mm).

MDF should be fine and probably holds the advantage for full range cabinets.

I'm also working on a curved loudpseaker which will use laminated mdf. I'm not the most critical, and I'm not using any jigs or precision cutting devices. Just my bandsaw and beltsander. It looks very promising

Sorry I can't supply you with what you want ;-))

I don't have access to a cnc, so anything I do is with normal power tools. So there are limits !!

The "Curved speakers" section is put forward as a brief 'how to' and 'ideas' section, hopefully to inspire people like yourself to have a go at harder constructions.

The ideas have to come from you though ;-))

I do hope you will contribute some pics once you have your ideas worked out and in construction.
