hello again
i was messing around with winisd using two of the tangband 6.5" neo subwoofer drivers and realized that i didnt know something... when i select two drivers, i decided on an enclosure volume of about 24 L because this creates an extended bass shelf on the freq response graph...now my question is, when building this box, do i build one giant 24 L box without seperate internal chambers? can the subs function in the same chamber? do i need two seperate internal chambers in the same box, each about 12L? When would i reverse the polarity of one speaker or the other? only when using isobaric installation? when should this be used? |

You can build a giant 24L box. Since you're using two times the same driver, you can.
You can also build two chambers of 12L each. You keep the same polarity. Reversing the polarity is for clamshell isobaric designs. This is used to have a smaller box than usual, but you lose some SPL.
