I have a Seas P17Rex in a 11L bookshelf enclosure... manage to tuned it to 70Hz

now i'm wondering by maxing it bigger... let say 15L... with the same port length and size, i will get lower bass say maybe 60Hz (i'm just guessing)

i have earlier manage to tune the 11L down to 50Hz, but sound in the region 65Hz - 90Hz suffer as i notice there are noticable difference in dB... now my question is based on your experience, will the bigger box (15L) suffer the same if i use same port length and size ?

You may want to verify this with some online calculators, but, if you keep the port length and diameter the same and INCREASE the internal volume, the tuning Freq. will be lowered. I can't tell you want it will do to sound quality.

The ports in the 11L and 15L boxes are the same size.

Retuning to 50Hz is easier than making the box bigger.
