I am looking @ the Dayton Finished Cabinets and the grille cloth looks brown.

I got some of these.
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=302-704 The grill is definitely black. The boxes look nice, and are well made and rigidly braced. Interestingly, the grill was damaged during shipping due to a combination of flimsy box and christmas season rush. They never sent me a new one, so I get to announce it publicly. |

Can you take a picture of your boxes? I find that the colours are all wrong on the PE site, esp the cherry looks completely washed out... plus the whole grille issue which you have just clarified.

I'm in the middle of making my own satelite design with seas 27tdfc, and peerless 830875 woofer. It sounds pretty good if the seas has a couple db notch filter in the 2-6khz range to kill the brightness. Its taking so long to finish though because I decided I would build them biamplified with diy amp and active crossover.
