Default If Speaker Workshop doesn't work???

A reasonable sound card (Maudio 2496) and a signal path that I can traceout from the card, though a mixer, through a channel strip and back into the card.

Speaker Workshop's calibration goes "phsst!" and hangs. I can't see any buttons to run it uncalibrated. I give up!

Is there any other software that will create a signal feed and compare a microphone (line) input?

Just inquiring: did you download the unofficial speaker workshop manual?

I hardly dare open this can of worms but: http://www.audiogrid.com/audio/

You'll need to give it a minute to load up & maybe refresh besides, but he's got loads of this kind of stuff listed.

I tried to read the manual but I wasn't getting any answers about why it didn't make any white noise for me. However since all I wanted was to throw white noise through the speaker and measure the output to find holes................

The answer is: a 1998 copy of PAS Spectrum analyser pro.

Job done
