Are these speakers worth the money, or should i get more expensive ones.

Hi,

100 aussie dollars = 42 quid = 75 us.

Hmmmm.....

are they worth it ?

They appear to be very good material value
- you get a lot for your money.

Unfortunately this can be a double edged sword,
properly engineering a large complex loudspeaker
is much more expensive than a simple one.

IMO a decent cheap speaker is always going
to be a straightforward 2 way design.

But then again a decent small speaker is
not much good for parties or large rooms.

Really depends on ancillary equipment and the
level of sound quality (versus volume) you are
aiming for.

/sreten.

I agree with what sreten said. I'd always chose one quality drive unit over two cheaper ones.

And without telling us your application we can't really comment further.

That link doesn't work either.

Basically the size of room, musical taste and sound preferences will dictate which are the best speakers for you.

I would say that if your room is fairly small those speakers would be too much. I would also say that they will likely not sound particularly audiophile, maybe boomy on the bass. If you have a nice valve amp partner it with dirt cheap speakers?
