Does anyone own a software program that calculates Q? If I gave you the base octave width and the boost in dB, could you you punch this in and tell me the Q (4 filters, total). I'd really appreciate it: I've come pretty close by hand, but I'd like a super-precise readout!

Oh, I found an online calculator that gave me my Q.
One filter is 700Hz, 0.99 Q. The other is 500Hz, 0.67 Q. Now, can anyone tell me what value resistors I need to achieve these filters (and gain is something separate, right?) |

I have used a gyrator circuit to build EQ sections in my active filter.
You can download the manual here: http://www.delta-audio.com/Active%20filter%20one.htm In the manual you will find the topology and equations to design your own EQ. \Jens |
