Default Choose lower or higher Fs for tweeters?

In general, when choosing driver combinations, is it better for the Fs to dip lower into the larger driver? For example, take two tweeters, A and B. Tweeter A has Fs=700, and B has Fs=1360 (specifically, the Accuton C12-6 and C13-6). What would be the tradeoffs of choosing between these tweeters, in terms of matching with a woofer or midrange, and designing a xover? Thanks, for your opinions/advice.

In the design of the xo you need to compensate for the impedance rise at the resonance frequency of the driver only when your high pass does not attenuate the tweeter for at least 30 dB below nominal acoustical output.

In other words when you intend to cross low and with shallow slopes and therefore close to the fs of the driver this impedance rise will alter the behaviour of the cross-over. Also most tweeters produce more distortion around their fs, so stay away from the fs!

So it depends largely on the proposed frequency range. You can imagine that for usage above 3 kHz both mentioned tweeters will suffice. Keep in mind that you cannot decide on Fs alone, you have still to have enough acoustical output, and low distortions in the intended range.
