What would be the ideal cabinet size for a pair of Vifa PL18 (6.5in.) drivers in MTM configuration? Mine is about 1.65ft cube but I find the bass slightly lean. The port size is 3in diameter by 4in. long. I then added two extra bass modules each using an 8in. driver which adds a small amount of warmness to bring the sound to better bass and treble balance.
I figure the speaker cabinet size a little large which cause the bass to lean out a bit. So if I reduce the cabinet size down, would I gain some extra bass and warmness? |
