Default Lend an idiot a hand..

Hello all, just picked up a pair of Behringer Truth B2031A speakers, and when it comes to audio projects, I don't know my elbow from my arsehole. Was just hoping you guys could answer a few basic questions.

Simply, I just would like to connect them to my turntable and my laptop. What's the best way to go about it? There's an XLR and a TRS input on the back of the speakers.

Any help would be appreciated, and simple terms are certainly preferable.. Thanks.

Those?

I think for the laptop you'll need a cable like this one:

But you'll need to check what the laptop takes. Might need an adapter.

Turntable? A pre-amp? If you get a preamp you could likely plug the laptop into it with a rca to rca cable. Then use a cable like the one above to go from the pre-amp to the speakers.

Best to wait for somebody else to answer-)
